Course Abstract:
How we can slow down the physio-pathological processes that occur during aging with the help of natural therapies is the theme of this course, which presents multiple research and studies useful in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases specific to the elderly, such as cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, various forms of cancer, atherosclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, etc. An anti-aging therapeutic model, which synergistically combines various natural therapies and recommends the use of medicinal and aromatic plants, beekeeping products, a diet rich in vegetables, fruits, and whole grains, an active lifestyle, etc., represents effective means of preserving the health of the elderly.
