Courses Overview
Aromatherapy-Phytotherapy relies on the therapeutic properties of various plant parts such as leaves, roots, flowers, and seeds, which contain active compounds believed to have medicinal benefits. Practitioners of phytotherapy use these plant-derived substances in different forms, including teas, extracts, capsules, and topical applications, to address a wide range of health issues. The practice of phytotherapy often draws from centuries-old traditions and knowledge of indigenous cultures regarding the medicinal properties of plants.
Key aspects of phytotherapy include identifying plants and aroma plants with specific therapeutic actions, understanding their biochemical composition, and applying them in ways that are intended to support the body’s natural healing processes, cellular regeneration and anti-aging.
