
Our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is impaired by stress factors such as pollutants, disease, inadequate life style, medicinal and drug abuse, exposure to bacteria and viruses and emotional instability. Emotional stress causes many different reactions that affect the endocrine, immune and nervous system of our body, It has been demonstrated through many researches that essential oils give a fundamental support in depleting the harmful effects that extensive emotional stress has on our system.
We will be investigating the pathways, evidenced by scientific research, which allow interact with the essential oils so as to support our emotional wellbeing. The course will address topics such as: the fundamental brain structures regulating emotional influence, a basic review of how certain hormones are influenced by stress, which essential oils bring a benefit also to our nervous system impacting for example on symptoms like pain, distress, anger and the principle emotions.
